Systemic Design Community of Practice - SDX
The Systemic Design eXchange was started over five years ago as a collaboration between Skills Society Action Lab and the Government of Alberta CoLab. Now convened by Action Lab, J5 Design, and the City of Edmonton, the community of practice continues to bring together diverse individuals from across sectors who are interested in learning and honing practices of Systemic Design as a methodology for addressing complex issues. With a bias towards learning by doing, SDX aims to be a watering hole where multiple sectors can come together, learn together, and act together.
Social Innovation Training
Do you have some knowledge and skills in social innovation and systemic design but aren’t confident enough to do it on your own yet? Looking for someone to offer high level guidance and act as a touch point for trouble shooting and problem solving as you lead your own project?

In addition to our full stewardship packages we also offer a light touch ‘train the trainer’ type experience where we can offer guidance from a distance to those who are newer to social innovation but already have the basic skills and knowledge to steward a project.
